The Frecciarossa 1000 is Italy's fastest train and stands for speed, comfort and modern design. This model is a faithful reproduction of the multiple unit - including a true-to-original paint scheme with the FS Trenitalia logo and the special "Ducati" advertising. Arnold is thus bringing a highlight of European long-distance transportation to your N layout.
The model is equipped with a powerful high-performance motor including flywheel, which ensures smooth, powerful running. Digital control is via a built-in DCC sound decoder (Next18/NEM 662), which enables realistic sound effects and gives the model additional depth. Three white headlights are integrated at the front and two red tail lights at the rear - all functional, but without interior lighting.
The multiple unit is designed for a minimum radius of 192 mm and is therefore perfect for N track systems. It has functional pantographs, but they are not electrically conductive. The train does not have close coupling kinematics. The body is not made of metal, which gives the model a low weight and good running characteristics.
The basic set includes four car units in a true-to-original color scheme - with numerous details that round off the overall picture.
