The Arnold HN2672D diesel locomotive 2005 T brings a real piece of RENFE history digitally to your N-gauge layout. In the classic original paint scheme and with the traditional name "Virgen del Carmen", this locomotive represents the typical express and freight train operation of Spain in Era III - now with a built-in multi-protocol digital decoder, but without sound.
The RENFE 2000 T series was one of the first diesel locomotive series in Spanish long-distance transportation. Its characteristic appearance and striking paintwork make it a popular collector's item to this day. The 2005 T model bears the individual lettering "Virgen del Carmen" and represents the prototype with authentic proportions and details.
Thanks to the built-in digital decoder (multi-protocol), this locomotive is immediately ready for DCC operation. It has a red/white light change, a modern Next18 interface for expansion and NEM coupling shafts with close coupler link. With a length of 109 mm over buffers, it is ideal for realistic train compositions in a compact space.
Ideal for model railroaders who value a true-to-original look and digital control, but want to do without sound. The Arnold HN2672D diesel locomotive 2005 T is a reliable model for Spanish model railroad operation in Era III.
