Description

Arnold HN6719 N Set of 2 Covered Freight Cars, Gs Class, DR, Era IV – Classics of GDR Freight Transport

With the Arnold HN6719, you’ll receive a two-piece set of Gs-type covered freight cars, as used by the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) during Era IV. Painted in brown, this set depicts typical everyday freight cars used in the GDR—one of the cars is equipped with a red tail light.

Gs Cars – The Backbone of General Cargo Transport

Gs-type covered freight cars were ubiquitous during Era IV. Whether for pallets, barrels, foodstuffs, or industrial goods—they carried everything that needed to be transported under cover from the elements. The DR version shown here is a must-have for realistic freight train formations in East Germany during the 1970s and 1980s.

Practical and Reliable

With an overall length over the buffers of 132 mm, a NEM coupler socket, and a close-coupling mechanism, the model offers reliable running characteristics. The printed tail light provides an authentic finishing touch for realistic freight trains in model railroading.

Add it to your train now – for authentic freight trains from the GDR era

The Arnold HN6719 set is ideal for anyone who wants to faithfully recreate the DR’s rail freight operations. Get yours now and bring the everyday reality of freight rail to your layout!
