The Arnold HN9777 brings an authentically designed German Reichsbahn (DR) ferry refrigerated car in TT scale to your model railroad layout. The two-axle freight car from Era IV features the eye-catching “KIM Broiler” advertising lettering—a typical design from the GDR era that makes the model a real showstopper.
In the 1970s and 1980s, the Deutsche Reichsbahn increasingly used freight car surfaces for eye-catching product advertising. The refrigerated car shown here transported frozen meat products – fittingly accompanied by the distinctive KIM advertising. A genuine piece of everyday life in the GDR for your Era IV scenarios.
The model is equipped with a NEM-compliant coupler housing and close-coupling mechanism and features fine engravings and cleanly applied lettering. With a length over buffers of 97 mm, the car is ideally suited for varied freight trains or single-car operations on branch lines.
The car is designed for 2-wire DC operation. Digitalization or sound equipment is not included—the focus here is on authentic appearance and smooth running in the classic TT system.
Whether in a refrigerated train, on a ferry, or as a single car in a mixed freight train – the Arnold HN9777 is a highlight for model railroading enthusiasts with an eye for detail. Get yours now and bring a piece of GDR freight transport to your TT layout!
