The T170 self-propelled loader was produced in the GDR from the mid-1950s and was used in agriculture and on construction sites. With its own drive, it only drove "fast" at 3.5 km/h. It could be towed at speeds of up to 20 km/h. The 6.3 m long boom made of two tubes was raised and lowered with ropes. Up to 0.8 t could be lifted with the 10 hp, later 13 hp engine.
The filigree kit is an exact replica of the original. The superstructure can be rotated through 360° on the chassis equipped with a steerable front axle. The boom, which is variable in inclination, can be equipped with hooks, fork or shell grabs as required. The blue body is printed with black and yellow warning beacons on the rear. The tires have legible size markings.
