With the Auhagen 43692 TT loader T172 Melioration, you can bring a technical monument of East German agriculture to your model railway layout. The elaborately printed and finely crafted kit depicts the T172 loader as it was often used in the melioration cooperatives of the GDR. The model is a real filigree component with functional features that provides for authentic scenery design in agricultural or communal facilities.
The T172 is known for its rotatable superstructure - and the model also makes this possible: The superstructure can be rotated through 360°, which offers a wide range of display options. The inclination of the boom can be changed and can be equipped with either a hook or a clamshell grab. This makes the kit ideal for depicting loading, lifting or grabbing work in fields, yards or construction sites.
The melioration cooperatives were founded from 1963 and were used to irrigate and drain agricultural land in the GDR. They supported LPGs, VEGs and GPGs in the maintenance and expansion of melioration facilities. The T172 was a typical vehicle in these cooperatives and was used in many regions for transportation, earthmoving and hydraulic engineering work. With this model, you can bring a piece of real agricultural history to your layout.
As well as being used in fields or work yards, the model is also ideal for a loading scene. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 73 x 23 x 37 mm and the included accessories, including single tires for the drive axle, the T172 can be realistically displayed transported on a flat wagon. This versatility makes it a valuable detail for any TT layout with a focus on East German technology or agriculture.
The loader is supplied as a kit and is aimed at model builders with an eye for detail and a love of filigree work. The precise printing and functional components offer plenty of scope for individual design - whether in use or as a stationary machine in a work yard.
With the Auhagen 43692 TT Loader T172 Melioration, you can expand your model world with an important vehicle from East German agricultural history. Whether in action or on transport - this kit brings movement, history and technical flair to your layout. Now available for your next model building project!
