Since 1892, Jöhstadt has been one of the terminuses of the Preßnitztalbahn. Until 1984, the Preßnitztalbahn ran from Wolkenstein to Jöhstadt over a total length of about 23 kilometers. Today, about 8.5 kilometers of this line are still used by the museum railroad between Steinbach and Jöhstadt. The locomotive shed shown in the model has existed in this form since 1899, when the main building was extended by the shallower right extension, in which smaller repairs could be carried out. In addition, a dormitory with bathroom could be installed in the process. For a comfortable construction and a convincing appearance, we recommend sharp scissors, a (steel) ruler, a (cutter) knife, scalpel - razor blade or similar, a right angle, a fast drying all-purpose glue or superglue, light gray matt varnish, a lacquer paint pen brown, a permanent marker black, black sewing silk, a sewing needle Ø 0.5 - 0.6 and a wood drill Ø 25.
