Are you looking for a classic DR standard locomotive for your H0e narrow gauge layout? With the Bemo 99 757 you can experience the return of a legend: After a break of over 20 years, a version of the well-known 99.73-76 series will be released again in 2026 - this time as an exclusive handcrafted model in the high-quality Metal Collection.
Built by Hartmann and Schwartzkopff, the locomotives of this series were delivered ex works with electric lighting or were retrofitted accordingly in the early 1930s. The model depicts locomotive 99 757 in an early Era III condition: with riveted water boxes, original fittings, pre-heater, air-controlled angle valves on the cylinders and large turbo generator. Another special feature is the makeshift smokebox door, as worn by locomotive 742.
The locomotive is produced as a small series handcrafted model in elaborate white metal and brass construction. The locomotive is driven and powered by all driving and coupling axles. A bell-type armature motor with flywheel mass ensures smooth and powerful running characteristics. The transmission is made of die-cast - for a long service life and precise power transmission.
With a length over buffers of 121.2 mm, the model is ideal for operational scenarios on Saxon and Thuringian DR narrow gauge railroads of the 1950s and 60s. Couplers for assembly are included. Gauge conversion to H0m is not possible with this model.
The Bemo 99 757 is a real collector's item and at the same time offers reliable operating quality. Get this elaborately designed model of the popular standard locomotive in its original appearance now!
