With the Bemo 1016865 steam locomotive 99 1585-1, you get a high-quality model of the famous Saxon IV K in the condition of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) during Era IV. The H0e prefabricated model made entirely of metal impresses with authentic details, high dimensional accuracy and the finest printing - ideal for all those who want to represent the typical charm of the GDR narrow-gauge railroads on their layout.
The locomotive is based on the class IV K, which was once one of the most widely used narrow gauge locomotives in Saxony. It remained in service in the DR until the 1980s - often modernized, as with the 99 1585-1 depicted here. With a length over buffers of 103.5 mm and a solid metal body, the locomotive offers an excellent mixture of filigree appearance and stable mechanics.
The model impresses with its fine engravings, clean paintwork and exact reproduction of the typical DR characteristics of this era. The filigree add-on parts are prototypical and ensure a harmonious appearance on a 1:87 narrow gauge scale.
The locomotive is designed for DC operation and is not digitally equipped - however, it can be digitized via specialist dealers. With its finely adjusted mechanics and precise running characteristics, it is ideally suited for reliable operation on all common H0e track systems.
The Bemo IV K 99 1585-1 is the perfect model for anyone who values technical quality and historical authenticity. Whether as an operational locomotive on branch lines or as a collector's item with nostalgic charm - this model brings the legendary Saxon narrow gauge tradition directly to your model railway layout.
