Are you looking for an unmistakable piece of Austrian narrow gauge history for your H0e layout? With the Bemo D 10 of the Zillertalbahn, a striking bogie diesel locomotive is presented as a new 2026 model - authentically implemented in the condition of the 1990s with beige decorative stripes and reversible train control.
Locomotive 740-007 was built in Yugoslavia in 1968 and was transferred to the Zillertalbahn in 1980, where it became the D 10. At the Jenbach works, it not only received a new engine, but also a modern driver's cab, new control panels and train heating. This was followed in the mid-1990s by a further engine replacement and the retrofitting of a push-pull control system, making it a reliable reserve for shuttle services.
The model shows the D 10 in its typical Era V design with beige decorative stripes and modernized equipment. After an engine failure, the locomotive was parked from the 2010s, but with the comeback of timber traffic from 2021, the refurbishment began again - a model with a past and a future at the same time.
The locomotive has a solid die-cast chassis, driven by a powerful 5-pole motor with power consumption across all four axles. LED headlights in the direction of travel and digitally switchable cab lighting ensure realistic operation. Numerous added details such as handle bars, rear-view mirrors, different body shapes and add-on parts make the locomotive a real eye-catcher.
The Bemo D 10 is the perfect addition for all H0e fans with a focus on Austrian branch lines. True to detail, ready for use and with history - secure it now!
