With the expansion of the RhB network, four more G 3/4 9-14 locomotives with increased coal stocks and a reinforced design were ordered from SLM for the valley lines in 1902. After the electrification of the route network and the decommissioning of most of the steam locomotives, three locomotives remained in service with the RhB for several years. In addition to locomotive 1 "Rhätia", which has been preserved for the museum, locomotives 11 and 14 were kept as steam reserves in Landquart and Samedan. The G 3/4 11, which had been used as an extra since the filming of the world-famous Heidi movie in 1952 and was henceforth called "Heidi" by railroad enthusiasts, ended its service with the RhB in 1977 - it was sold to the "Modelleisenbahnfreunde Eiger Zweilütschinen MEFEZ" for nostalgia trips on the BOB valley line. In 1990, it was parked due to the poor condition of the boiler and stored in the Zweilütschinen depot. In 2000, the "Club 1889" returned the "Heidi" 2000 to its regular network and has been refurbishing it since 2005. For fire safety reasons, she was fitted with an oil firing system so that she can also be used when there is a risk of forest fires.
