Would you like to give your H0m layout not only power, but also a special atmosphere? Then the Bemo Ge 4/4 III 641 in the "Heidiland Express" version with sound is just the thing. This powerful electric locomotive from the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) combines modern technology with an iconic livery - including digital control and realistic locomotive sound.
The history of the "Bernina Express" really took off in 1983 with the introduction of the EW III standard coaches - both in terms of comfort and the striking red/dark brown design of the trains. This was followed in 1992/93 by the EW IV, eleven more comfortable express coaches for the RhB. A particular highlight from 1995 was the "Heidiland Bernina Express", which ran as a second train composition from Landquart via Davos and Filisur to Tirano - a spectacular Alpine journey along the UNESCO-protected Bernina line. In the summer months, the train usually consisted of seven carriages - hauled by a class Ge 4/4 III locomotive.
The H0m conversion from Bemo shows locomotive no. 641 in the attractive "Heidiland Express" advertising design. With its bold red-brown paint scheme, it fits in perfectly with the historic Bernina Express carriages. With a length of 184 mm and a minimum radius of over 330 mm, the locomotive is optimally designed for use on meter gauge layouts.
Equipped with digital control and a sound function, this model brings realistic operating sounds to your layout. From the starting noise to the locomotive whistle - here you can experience the RhB with all your senses. The integrated LED lights provide contemporary lighting and round off the technology package.
The Ge 4/4 III 641 is not only a visual highlight, but also a technical powerhouse. Ideal for use in front of Bernina Express sets, EW III and EW IV coaches as well as other RhB train compositions from Era V. Whether on the mountain line, in the station or in the display case - this locomotive will impress in any environment.
With the Bemo 1359111, you can bring a real piece of Graubünden railroad history into your model railroad world. True to detail, powerful and with real sound - this is model building at the highest level!
