With the Bemo 1459111 H0 electric locomotive "Heidiland Express" Ge 4/4 III 641 of the RhB, Era V, you can bring a piece of Swiss railroad romance of the 1990s directly to your model railway layout. This locomotive is reminiscent of the successful extension of the legendary "Bernina Express" to include the Landquart-Davos-Filisur-Tirano route, known as the "Heidiland Bernina Express". In the typical RhB design, the Ge 4/4 III 641 runs sonorously and powerfully through your H0 world - factory-equipped with a digital decoder and sound module.
The locomotive is detailed and cleanly finished. Its eye-catching lettering in the "Heidiland Express" design is razor-sharp and sets colorful accents on the typical red RhB locomotive body. Finely reproduced roof superstructures, clean engravings and high-quality paintwork underline the prototypical implementation. The LED lighting with light change also ensures a harmonious effect when the locomotive is running.
The model is fully digitally equipped and designed for 3-wire alternating current (AC) operation. It has a factory-integrated sound decoder that provides realistic driving noises, horn and other functions. Thanks to the Next18 interface, it is easy to adapt or change the decoder at a later date. The LED headlights work depending on the direction of travel and increase the closeness to the prototype in the model.
The success story of the Bernina Express in its current form began with the commissioning of the EW III standard coaches in 1983. The comfort, the uniform color concept and the modern equipment significantly shaped the appearance of the RhB. With the addition of the EW IV coaches in 1992/93, a second train composition became possible, allowing the "Heidiland Bernina Express" via Landquart to be included in the summer timetable from 1995 - usually consisting of seven full-length coaches.
This locomotive can be ideally combined with RhB express coaches of the EW III and EW IV series. Thanks to the minimum radius of 360 mm, it is designed for larger H0 layouts. The in-house coupling system ensures a reliable connection with other Bemo vehicles on a scale of 1:87.
The scope of delivery includes the fully digitized electric locomotive Ge 4/4 III 641 in the "Heidiland Express" design, including factory-fitted sound decoder, LED lighting and all attached details - ready for use on AC digital layouts.
