The Bemo 1559111 H0 electric locomotive "Heidiland Express" Ge 4/4 III 641 of the RhB, Era V is a fascinating model for all fans of the Swiss narrow-gauge railroad. The Ge 4/4 III 641 is part of a series of powerful universal locomotives from the Rhaetian Railway that were introduced in the 1990s. Their time in service coincided with the expansion of the "Bernina Express" and the introduction of the "Heidiland Express". The delivery of the EW IV standard coaches (1992/93) made the second composition possible, which was offered from 1995 as a new tourist highlight on the scenic route from Landquart to Tirano.
The locomotive can be ideally combined with the RhB EW III and EW IV standard coaches to reproduce authentic train sets from Era V. Thanks to the minimum radius of 360 mm, it is suitable for medium-sized to large H0 layouts. The in-house coupler pocket ensures safe operation in combination with other Bemo vehicles.
