Bemo 2269125 H0m Güterwagen Lb-v 7865 with Coop-Container "Birne", RhB Product Details

Description

The Bemo 2269125 H0m Lb-v 7865 freight car with "Pear" coop container from the RhB is a new item in the H0m scale that belongs to Era VI.

As more and more special cars were put into service, the need for two-axle boxcars decreased. As early as 1995 - and to a greater extent from 1997 - various carrying wagons for swap bodies were produced from the Gb 5001-5100 series. These special wagons, designated Lb-v 7851-7886, can be found from Landquart or Chur on the entire RhB route network: with troughs, conventional containers, postal containers or refrigerated containers for food transports, e.g. Coop or Migros.

Bogie wagons, which can also be carried in passenger trains that travel faster than freight trains, now dominate; around half of the carrying wagons now designated as Lb have already been taken out of service. The grocery chain Coop serves its branches from Chur every working day with colorfully designed refrigerated containers, several of which can often be seen in one train.

Since their introduction at the turn of the millennium, several generations of containers have been used and constantly improved. The refrigerated containers carry various fruit and vegetable motifs and immediately catch the eye on freight trains, especially when there are several of them on a train.
