From Covered Freight Car to Specialized Carrier

Due to the ongoing modernization of the RhB freight car fleet, two-axle covered cars became increasingly obsolete. This resulted in the Lb-v 7851–7886 series—flexibly deployable with containers, dump bodies, or refrigerated containers.

The graphics have since been removed—the container now appears in neutral white. The cars remain in active service at the Landquart distribution center and reliably serve the RhB rail network.
