About the model: The RhB R-w 8210 Bündner Güterbahn Apfel & Hahn, Era VI, is a BEMO brand model. The car has a prototypical paint scheme and the finest printing. The model has a length of 190.3 mm.
About the prototype: For the regular transportation of waste to the Untervaz/Trimmis waste incineration plant, the RhB procured the red Y 11811-11828 closed refuse skips with hydraulic lid and front opening flap from the middle of the first decade after the turn of the millennium. A second procurement phase for refuse skips began in the fall of 2018 with the arrival of grey skips with red front walls.
The Y 11851-11868, which were procured in several series, were given red sides and a multilingual slogan "Bündner Güterbahn" written on them in white shortly afterwards. Four different decorative motifs were used in the lower areas between the stiffening ribs: Wood, Stones, Apples and Harbor/Airport.
