About the model: At the end of 2022, a train service was created that is second to none. It is so special because it connects Montreux on Lake Geneva with Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland without the need to change trains, even though the line is a hybrid of meter gauge and standard gauge. To make this possible, there is a gauging system in Zweisimmen, just over halfway along the line, which widens the bogies for standard-gauge operation and at the same time raises the carriage body due to the different platform standard height. Further in the direction of Interlaken, a BLS Re 465 electric locomotive pushes the train composition or pulls in the opposite direction. This is made possible by an interface carriage, which translates between the different types of couplings. The basic consist consists of two cab cars and two panorama passenger cars.

About the model: Bemo is now reproducing this special train as a narrow gauge H0m version and also as an H0 standard gauge version. The H0 models are available in both direct current and alternating current versions. This 381 control car in H0m gauge is impressive due to its outstanding reproduction of the original shapes, the very attractive paintwork and various lighting functions. These include an illuminated driver's cab, a train destination display at the front, interior lighting and the front signal. The cab control car has a Next18 digital interface (NEM 662) so that it can also be upgraded for digital operation.
