About the model: Since December 11, 2022, the "GoldenPass Express" has been connecting Montreux on Lake Geneva with Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau without changing trains. The special feature of the route is that 62.43 km are covered on meter gauge tracks between Montreux and Zweisimmen and 52.91 km on standard gauge tracks between Zweisimmen and Interlaken Ost. The entire train consists of two driving trailers and two passenger coaches, with an additional low-floor coach Bs 231-238. However, this did not manage to meet the higher safety requirements on normal tracks. In Zweisimmen, the wagons are re-gauged at slow speed. These are supported by lateral roller supports on the bogies, while the bogies are adjusted for the changed track gauge and the wagon height to the deviating platform standard height. From this point to Interlaken, a BLS Re 465 electric locomotive pushes the train composition or pulls in the opposite direction and a so-called Bsi interface car is interposed, which has both a standard-gauge and a narrow-gauge coupler.

About the model: Bemo now reproduces the complete combination in three different variations. These include the H0m narrow gauge version with the two control cars and the passenger cars, as well as the H0 direct current and alternating current versions, which also have the interface car in addition to the control and passenger cars. This model represents the As 191 panorama car in H0m scale. It offers excellent running characteristics and is very detailed. It also features precise and attractive printing. The car is already prepared for the installation of interior lighting.
