The Bemo 3266251 H0m B 4271 Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB) passenger car is a light metal car that is available in H0m scale. It belongs to Era V-VI and is being presented as a new item.
The B 4263-4272 cars were put into service by the FO in 1965 and 1968 for high-quality express train service, especially for the "Glacier Express". These coaches are based on the RhB's EW I standard coaches, but are shorter in length, similar to the A 1253-1256 coaches procured for the same purpose. The FO coaches are equipped with Schelling-type bogies and were initially supplied in a dark red livery before being repainted twice to the modern MGB wind design.
With the conversion of the "Glacier Express" to panorama coaches, the B coaches were relegated to regional services and the first vehicles were already taken out of service after the delivery of modern multiple units.
