A direct connection from Montreux on Lake Geneva to Interlaken offers great added value. On the one hand, it connects two important places and, at the same time, the route also has a lot to offer visually. However, there was one main reason why this connection could only be launched at the end of 2022. The two towns use different tracks. You start your journey in Montreux on narrow-gauge meter tracks. However, when you arrive in Interlaken, you will only find standard-gauge tracks. The solution to the problem is found in Zweisimmen after 62.43 km of the 115.34 km journey. There is a changeover track there, which makes it possible to adjust the chassis and carriage height of the two control carriages and the two panoramic carriages when traveling slowly. This allows the towns to be connected without having to change trains.

About the model: Bemo is now reproducing the train on this special route. In order to do justice to the prototype, this is done in both H0 and H0m scale. The entire train is characterized by its modern design, its realism and its generally high quality. This H0 panoramic coach boasts original paintwork and a detailed interior.
