Are you looking for an authentic steam locomotive from the Deutsche Reichsbahn with a digital sound experience? The Brawa 40091 brings the 65 1056 locomotive from 1965 as an H0 model to your collection - fully equipped with DC sound, realistic lighting effects and an impressive attention to detail. An absolute highlight for Era III enthusiasts with high demands on prototype fidelity and technology.
The class 65.10 was built in the 1950s as part of the large new construction program of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. Locomotive 65 1056 is an example of the condition after the retrofits from 1965 - with original chimney, wet steam regulator and angular mixing preheater in the typical DR design. It was used in commuter service and proved itself in daily use thanks to its fast acceleration and robust technology.
The Brawa 40091 version is already equipped with a sound decoder at the factory and offers a realistic sound experience. In combination with the maintenance-free LED lighting, the white/red light change as well as the switchable engine and driver's cab lighting and the flickering fire, a dense operating atmosphere is created - ideal for realistic evening and night runs.
Brawa relies on maximum precision for the 40091 - from the newly designed kinematics of the trailing bogie to the engine-optimized driver's cab design. The running gear has also been modernized, the wheel hubs revised and the coal box optionally designed with or without toolboxes - all implemented in a prototypical manner.
