Are you looking for a striking electric locomotive from the early days of the German Federal Railroad - with the latest digital technology and authentic sound? The Brawa 43250 brings the E 75 11 of the German Federal Railroad to your layout as a high-quality DC model with a factory-installed sound decoder and many fine details. Ideal for Era III enthusiasts with digital ambitions.
The E 75, originally developed for the DRG, remained in active service after the war under the German Federal Railroad - especially on southern German lines. With its robust design and distinctive central driver's cab, it embodied the transition from tradition to modern traction in Era III. The E 75 11 is representative of this era of electric awakening.
The model is designed for 2L direct current systems and has a PluX22 sound decoder that reproduces realistic driving and switching noises. The red/white light changes depending on the direction of travel, using energy-saving LED lamps. This gives the locomotive a credible and harmonious appearance by day and night.
With a length over buffers of 176.8 mm and a minimum radius of 360 mm, the model fits perfectly on standard H0 layouts. The close-coupling kinematics in accordance with the NEM standard allow close car spacing and smooth driving maneuvers. The E 75 is visually impressive with its fine engraving, correct coloring and exact proportions.
