The Brawa 44167 DB railcar ET 89 04 brings the last chapter of the famous "Rübezahl" series to your H0 DC layout - now with an integrated sound module and modern digital technology. This model combines historical significance with technical refinements, making it an acoustic and visual highlight for all Era III fans.
The railcar is factory-equipped with a digital decoder including sound for the 2L direct current system. With the road number ET 89 04, the model is exactly the only representative of the class that came to the German Federal Railroad after the Second World War. A new, smooth-running motor ensures precise running characteristics and realistic operating behavior on your layout.
The LED lighting offers a red and white light change, illuminated headlights or rear train lights and a third separately switchable headlight. The interior lightingcan also be switched separately and creates an atmospheric effect - whether in the station or on the open track. The integrated sound rounds off the realistic driving experience perfectly.
With a length over buffers of 251.7 mm and a minimum radius of 360 mm, the model is suitable for use on almost any H0 layout. Thanks to the NEM coupling shaft with close coupling kinematics, the ET 89 04 can be flexibly combined with historic DB wagons - ideal for authentic train scenes from the early post-war period.
Of the 11 railcars originally built in the ET 89 series, only three survived the end of the war. ET 89 04 was the only one to be refurbished and put into service by the German Federal Railroad. Initially still operated as a 2nd and 3rd class carriage, it was used exclusively in 2nd class from 1956. Its service ended on September 2, 1959 - as the last railcar of this special series.
The combination of open access platforms, striking design and eventful history makes this railcar a special example of railroad history - now as a powerful-sounding model for your collection.
The Brawa 44167 ET 89 04 offers historical depth, visual authenticity and modern sound in one model. Whether as a solo vehicle or with a matching trailer car - this railcar is a real highlight on any H0 DC layout with digital requirements.
