The Brawa 44585 H0 TWINDEXX VARIO multiple unit is an extraordinary 1:87 scale multiple unit that meets the latest model railroad standards. The TWINDEXX VARIO is a further development of the proven double-decker coach fleet and has been specially optimized for regional transport. The train offers an efficient solution, particularly on routes with high passenger demand and short platforms. Thanks to their modular design, the modern multiple units allow flexible adaptation of the train length. The 3-part train set shown here consists of 2 2nd class railcars and a 2nd class center car.
The multiple unit is manufactured true to scale on an exact 1:87 scale. The body made of impact-resistant plastic and the metal base plate ensure high stability and perfect running characteristics. Finely printed window frames, precisely fitted windows and extra details such as windshield wipers and handle bars make the model a real eye-catcher on the layout.
The illuminated train destination displays and the warm white interior lighting create a realistic overall appearance. Thanks to the digitally controllable functions, the lighting can be flexibly adjusted. The driver's cab lighting provides additional authenticity.
The integrated ZugBUS system automatically detects the position of the leading and last vehicle in the train formation. This allows functions such as light changes, braking sections or operation in double traction to be controlled automatically and in line with the prototype. These functions are exclusively available in digital operation and make the multiple unit particularly innovative.
The multiple unit is equipped with a Döhler & Haass sound decoder that reproduces realistic sounds such as driving noises, braking and announcements. The precise control ensures an authentic driving experience with smooth starting and braking.
Thanks to the NEM close coupling mount and the close coupling kinematics, the multiple unit can be easily integrated into the train set. The minimum radius is only 360 mm, which means that the train can also be used on smaller layouts without any problems.
