Description

Based on a development design by the Westwaggon company, the industry put the last large series of typical light railcars on the rails between 1939 and 1940. The basis for this was the DR's 1936 procurement program, which until then had ensured the continuous further development of railcars. Typical for the time, the striking basket arch shape with the large buffers characterized the front of the vehicle and allowed the personnel to reach the adjacent vehicle during the journey by means of a corresponding transition at the front ends.
