Description

Brawa 45717 H0 C4 Passenger Car, K.W.St.E., Era I – Experience Württemberg’s railroad history firsthand

Experience a historic highlight of Württemberg’s railway history with Brawa’s C4 passenger car. This third-class four-axle car epitomizes durability, adaptability, and authentic 19th-century travel—now available as a finely detailed H0 model.

From Classic to Endurance Runner

Starting in 1845, the K.W.St.E. procured approximately 350 four-axle cars, which were repeatedly modernized over the decades through numerous modifications. Starting in 1899, many cars were fitted with new car bodies featuring double windows—a clear sign of the increased demands for comfort and functionality. Some of these modified C4-class cars remained in service for more than a century—an unprecedented lifespan for passenger cars of their time.

Accurate model with authentic patina

Brawa delivers high-quality craftsmanship with the C4 as well: soot marks on the roof, separately attached gas tanks, finely detailed running boards, and scale-accurate side panels perfectly reflect the historical prototype. The intricate craftsmanship makes this car a real eye-catcher in any Era I layout.
