The Ciel-25 is a true hidden gem for model railroaders of Era II: Only four of these branch line cars were manufactured by Wumag Görlitz—all specifically for use in Silesia. With this Brawa model, you can bring a piece of nearly forgotten railroad history to your layout, perfectly rendered with many intricate details and authentic paintwork.
The cars from this limited series were stationed in Hirschberg and remained in service there until the end of the war. Only a single car survived the turmoil of the war and was transferred to the Deutsche Bundesbahn, where it was taken out of service in 1964. This makes the Ciel-25 one of the rarest vehicles of the DRG—a must-have for any historically oriented collection.
The model impresses with numerous separately applied details such as bearing caps, roof vents, and running boards. The prototypical reproduction of the undercarriage and the meticulous execution of the platform railing—including the electric coupler—make this car a showpiece on any layout. The short-coupler kinematics, compliant with the NEM standard, ensure perfect running characteristics during operation.
