The Brawa 46210 H0 C4ywe "Touropa" passenger coach is a precise reproduction of a classic German Federal Railroad (DB) passenger coach from Era III. The coach was part of the well-known Touropa train that transported vacationers to their destinations in Germany and Europe in the 1950s and 1960s. Equipped with DC interior lighting and a detailed replica, this car is a perfect addition to your collection and your model railroad layout.
From the late 1920s, the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG ) increasingly focused on improving the comfort of long-distance travel. The Touropa train was specially developed for organized vacation tourism and provided a comfortable connection for travellers to Germany and other European countries. From 1930, the C4ywe carriages, with their open gangways and large windows, were used in these trains to offer passengers more comfort and a wider view. The coaches shaped the image of tourist traffic and remained in use until the 1970s.
The Brawa 46210 impresses with numerous fine details. The highlights include the precisely reproduced Görlitz III lightweight bogies with quadruple suspension, the precisely reproduced frame with numerous attached individual parts and the multi-colored interior with individual seats. Further details such as the reproduction of the roof rivets, the precisely fitted windows and the large windows ensure an authentic look and a realistic appearance. If the car is to be operated on an AC system, the AC slider (BRAWA order number 2222) can be retrofitted. The AC wheel set (BRAWA order number 2188) is suitable for AC operation, but it is not necessary to replace the wheel set in order to operate the model optimally.
With a length over buffers of 239.8 mm and a minimum radius of 360 mm, this model is suitable for all standard H0 layouts. The metal axle bearings and the three-point bearing ensure smooth running characteristics and a stable ride. The metal wheels ensure excellent adhesion to the rails and smooth running of the model.
