The Brawa 46211 H0 C4ywe "Touropa" passenger car is a masterfully reproduced German Federal Railroad (DB) car from Era III that represents the Touropa train of the 1950s and 1960s. The Touropa train was developed by the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG ) at the end of the 1920s to promote vacation tourism in Germany and Europe. From 1930, C4ywe carriages were used in these trains, which were characterized by large windows and open gangways. These carriages enabled passengers to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant journey to the most beautiful destinations in Europe. The Touropa train remained an indispensable part of long-distance travel in Germany until the 1970s.

If you want to operate the car on an alternating current (AC) system, you can retrofit the AC pickup shoe (BRAWA order number 2222). The AC wheel set (BRAWA order number 2188) is also available, but is not absolutely necessary.
With a length over buffers of 239.8 mm and a minimum radius of 360 mm, the Brawa 46211 passenger coach offers excellent running characteristics on most H0 layouts.
