About the prototype: The Württemberg freight cars with a 3.6 m wheelbase and two platforms also included numerous fire freight cars. They were intended for the transportation of flammable goods. There were strict regulations for the loading, handling and placement in the trains for the transportation of flammable goods. The wagons, especially the roof and the braking system, had to be in particularly good condition, which had to be checked by the train crew before each journey.
