Description

The manufacturer BRAWA presents a 2022 novelty, the DRG boxcar G from Era II. The prototypical model has close-coupling kinematics, metal wheels and attached grab irons and steps in a low material thickness. The car also has the road number "Stuttgart 773".

Information about the prototype: The Württemberg freight cars with a 3.6 m wheelbase and two platforms also included numerous fire freight cars. They were intended for the transportation of flammable goods. There were strict regulations for the loading, handling and placement in the trains for the transportation of flammable goods. The wagons, especially the roof and the braking system, had to be in particularly good condition, which had to be checked by the train crew before each journey. At least four wagons had to be lined up between the wagon and the locomotive and the wagons were not allowed to be loaded at the goods shed.
