Description

BRAWA presents, a 2022 novelty, the K.Bay.Sts.B. boxcar G from Era I. The prototypical model has close-coupling kinematics, metal wheels and specially attached grab irons and steps. The car also has the road number "Regensburg 33 009".

Information about the prototype: Although their load weight was lower than that of the newer Gm and Glm class wagons, Bavaria could not do without the older G wagons. The limited load capacity did not matter, especially when transporting lighter general cargo, e.g. the products of the extensive glass industry in the Bavarian Forest. After 1912, the older wagons also received the red-brown livery and were assigned to the newly created "Regensburg" class. All wagons with a load weight of less than 15 tons were gathered here.
