About the model: Brawa presents the flat car X of the K.Bay.Sts.B in the scale 1:87. The car impresses with its precise reproduction of the board joints and the filigree representation of the wheel bearings. Equipped with a prototypical brake system and close coupler kinematics, this model is an authentic addition to any model railroad layout.
About the prototype: Although their load weight was less than that of the newer Gm and Glm cars, Bavaria could not do without the older G cars. The limited load capacity did not matter, especially when transporting lighter general cargo, e.g. the products of the extensive glass industry in the Bavarian Forest. After 1912, the older wagons also received the red-brown livery and were assigned to the newly created "Regensburg" class. All wagons with a load weight of less than 15 tons were gathered here.
