About the model: The AAE container wagon Sffggmrrss36 is loaded with one container each from MAERSK and Hapag-Lloyd. The 1:87 scale car is characterized by its detailed design. With a multi-part brake system and close-coupling kinematics, this model offers a realistic representation. Extra brake lines with steel profiles are also included to provide an authentic look.

About the prototype: The "megafret" container wagon was developed for the transportation of so-called "high cube" containers. These are containers with corner heights of 2.80 or even 3.20 m. The Transfesa sliding tarpaulin containers have a length of 45 feet. Normal standard containers are also transported in order to utilize the "megafret" wagons economically. Up to four 20-foot containers can be loaded. The wagon can travel at speeds of up to 140 km/h and the unit has a payload of 87 tons. The wagons are used on all European railroads, including Great Britain.
