Would you like to authentically recreate current freight transport scenarios? The Brawa 50626 Fals 186 is a modern self-unloading car from DB AG—ideal for transporting coal, coke, and ore on today’s main and branch lines.
With a length over buffers of 137 mm and NEM-compliant close-coupling kinematics, this car is ideally suited for use in realistic block trains. The fine printing and paint finish, multi-part braking system with brake shoes at wheel level, and separately attached signal holders underscore the high-quality construction. Road number: 81 80 665 9 055-0.
The Fals 186 series represents a further development of the bulk freight cars introduced by the Deutsche Bundesbahn starting in 1969. Evolving from the Fads 175–177 models, many cars were modernized and equipped with new bogies (Y25). Even under DB AG management, they continue to perform important transport tasks in the bulk cargo sector—mostly in block trains serving power plants, industrial facilities, or ports.
Fals 186 cars are typical block train vehicles—often 20 to 40 cars long—hauled by modern locomotives such as the BR 185, 187, or Siemens Vectron. They operate nationally and internationally as part of large logistics systems.
This car combines perfectly with other Fals 186, Falns, or Eanos cars. Suitable for operational dioramas featuring coal loading, port facilities, or industrial rail connections in Era VI.
The Brawa 50626 embodies modern railway technology based on a proven design—a high-performance model that is true to the prototype and offers great versatility on your layout.
