Brawa 50794 passenger car Bmh, DBAG, Ep.V Product Details

Description

About the model: The DB AG Bmh passenger coach, belonging to Era V, is a high-quality model from the BRAWA brand. The wagon was manufactured on a scale of 1:87 and impresses with its high-quality appearance with detailed paintwork and printing. Furthermore, the model has been equipped with numerous features, such as a prototypical interior as well as free-standing handle bars and close-coupling kinematics. In addition, the car has already been prepared for retrofitting interior lighting.

About the prototype: Various changes, especially to the toilet facilities, later led to various types of substructure. The first route on which the new coaches were used was the Leipzig-Chemnitz line, which was declared a regional express line (RSB). The BR 232 locomotive was used here. With progressive closures at the DR and replacement by railcars, the coaches were also used by stations in the old federal states. They were mostly used with the class Bybdzf 482 driving trailers rebuilt from 1995 onwards in push-pull service with ZWS. In the former DR area, the class 112, 143, 219 and 234 were predominantly used for this purpose. Many were taken over by the Hungarian state railroad. At DB AG, Eisenach-Halle is one of the last lines on which the "long Halberstadt" locomotives are used.
