Description

The Brawa 50834 is a high quality model of a German Federal Railroad (DB) type Fads 175 bulk freight car from Era IV. This era, which extends from 1970 to 1990, represents the time in which the German Federal Railroad operated in West Germany. The model is designed for operation on alternating current systems, which makes it ideal for Märklin layouts. It impresses with the excellent detailing that is typical of Brawa models, including precise paintwork, fine engraving and separately applied parts. The car is equipped with close-coupling kinematics that are compatible with NEM couplers. The model is in 1:87 scale, matching the H0 gauge, and is perfect for model railroaders and collectors who want to recreate scenes from the operation of the German Federal Railroad in the 1970s and 1980s.
