This H0 DB boxcar Ibdlps383 from Era III with the lettering 'König Pilsener' is a detailed model of a refrigerator car and is suitable for the AC system.
Information about the prototype:
The Tnf Berlin (Tnfs38) was created in 1942 as a simplified refrigerator car design. The basic construction was based on the Glmhs Dresden in welded design. In contrast to this, the refrigerated cars were fitted with 300 mm thick insulation and an inner lining of zinc sheet to protect the wood against moisture. The sliding doors were replaced by double-leaf hinged doors to ensure a tight seal. The vertical boarding with white paint was a striking feature. From the mid-1950s, DB carried out various modernizations, including replacing the plain bearing wheel sets with modern roller bearings. Private breweries later acquired many of these wagons and used them to transport beer, often with their own company advertising.
