Are you looking for a passenger coach that brings the typical DR city express traffic in Era IV credibly to your H0 layout? The prototype of this passenger coach was used for many years in different areas of operation. Various modifications, particularly to the WC facilities, later led to different substructure types. At DB AG, Eisenach-Halle is one of the last lines on which the "long Halberstadt" cars are used. This car therefore represents a passenger train design with a remarkably long history of use.
The model is designed in H0 scale and is assigned to Era IV. The DR railroad company and the road number 51 50 21-43 834-3 give the car a clearly defined design. With a length over buffers of 303 mm, the passenger coach has an impressive presence in the train set and brings out the typical effect of this design particularly well. Especially in longer sets, this car unfolds its prototypical appearance and ensures a harmonious overall picture.

Added to this is the extra generator attached to the bogie, which gives the model an even more three-dimensional appearance. The preparation for interior lighting also opens up the possibility of integrating the car into the layout even more atmospherically. Together with the close-coupling kinematics, the result is a passenger coach that is designed for harmonious use in prototypical train formations.
