Technically sophisticated and prototypical

With a length over buffers of 303 mm and close coupler kinematics in accordance with NEM, this car is perfect for realistic train formations. The car is prepared for interior lighting and the rubber bead at the car transition is spring-mounted. The prototype - express train cars for the DR

The Bmhe cars were built in the 1970s for DR express train service. Originally used on the Leipzig-Chemnitz line as RegionalSchnellBahn (RSB), they were later also used in the old federal states, especially in push-pull services with Bybdzf-482 control cars. They were typically hauled by class 232, 112, 143, 219 or 234 locomotives. Many vehicles were passed on to MÁV or other railroads after reunification.

The Bmhe is ideal for DR express trains, regional services or post-reunification reversible trains. It was also used under DB AG operation until the 2000s - e.g. on the Eisenach-Halle line.

Particularly harmonious with Halberstadt center entrance cars, DR dining and baggage cars or the typical DR diesel locomotives. Can also be used with later DB AG locomotives in regional service.
