With a length over buffers of 303 mm and close coupling kinematics according to NEM, the car can be optimally integrated into realistic train sets. The precisely fitted windows with printed window frames, the period-appropriate interior (multicolored) and the spring-loaded rubber bead at the wagon transition ensure that the car is very close to the prototype. The prototype - express train cars for the RSB Leipzig-Chemnitz

The Bmhe cars were used as modern express train cars by the DR and formed the backbone on lines such as the RegionalSchnellBahn Leipzig-Chemnitz from the 1980s. In the 1990s, the coaches were also used in the old federal states - often in push-pull operation with Bybdzf 482 driving trailers and class 112, 143, 219 or 234 locomotives.
