Description

Brawa 58236 H0 Railcar BR 424, DB AG, Era VI - Detailed entry into modern local transportation

Do you prefer classic analog operation, but don't want to do without modern technology and prototype fidelity? The Brawa 58236 BR 424 multiple unit is an analog model with extensive equipment and sound preparation and is ideal for all those who want to gradually enter the digital world or deliberately drive in analog.

High-quality model with details true to the original

The four-car multiple unit is closely based on the Deutsche Bahn model: The three-dimensional front, the detailed engravings, precisely fitting windows and finely executed roof superstructures with high-voltage equipment and air-conditioning boxes make this model a real eye-catcher on any H0 layout of Era VI.

Ready for sound and digital technology

Even though the model is supplied in the analog version, it is already prepared for the subsequent installation of locomotive sound. The lighting is completely LED, including illuminated train destination displays. An elaborately designed interior with interior lighting brings additional realism to the train.

Technically sophisticated for direct current operation

The power is always drawn from the front section of the train via pick-up shoe switching - a reliable solution for clean operation. The bogies are precisely reproduced with a view to the differences to the BR 425 and BR 426. Thanks to close coupling kinematics in accordance with the NEM standard, the multiple unit can also be used in double traction.

The prototype: A successful model in regional transport

The class 424 is based on the successful class 425, which went into series production in 1999. It is used throughout Germany by DB Regio - on the S-Bahn network as well as on regional express services. Its consistent design and high capacity make it the ideal solution for dense regular-interval services in conurbations and on main lines.

Analog - but anything but simple

The Brawa 58236 offers analog railroaders a modern vehicle at the highest level of detail with open development potential for later digital retrofits. This model is the ideal introduction to the world of modern railcars for anyone wishing to upgrade their DC layout.
