Brawa 70126 H0 steam locomotive 012, DB, Ep. IV, DC-Sound Product Details

Description

Are you looking for a digitized express train steam locomotive with sound for your Era IV layout?

The Brawa 70126 H0 steam locomotive BR 012 of the German Federal Railroad represents the famous 012 100-4 in the condition from April 1974 - in its last operating phase on the Emsland line. Equipped with a factory-installed digital decoder with original sound, LED lighting and many intricate details, it is the perfect model for all fans of the steam locomotive era in Era IV.

Model information & technical data

The locomotive is designed for H0 gauge (scale 1:87) and measures 277.50 mm over buffers. It is designed for the 2-wire direct current system (DC) and is digitized at the factory, including sound. The PluX22 interface is also available. The locomotive is illuminated with LED technology, including white light change and interior lighting.

Drive & technology

The drive is located in the tender and ensures optimum running characteristics. The locomotive has a close coupler between the locomotive and the tender as well as a standard guide shaft.Single axle bearings made of metal and a true-to-scale wheelbase enable smooth running characteristics. Recommended minimum radius: from R 420 mm.

Richness of detail & equipment

The locomotive is equipped with oil firing, new cylinders, roller bearings, Atlas turntables, emergency oil shut-off rods on the tender, flange lubrication pump and high chimney with attachment. An openwork bar frame, spoked wheels, filigree metal driving and coupling rods and a detailed internal engine round off the model.

Prototype: 012 100-4 - Last heroine of the steam locomotive era

The 012 100-4 was in service at the Rheine depot until 1975 and was one of the last steam-powered express locomotives of the DB. As an oil locomotive with numerous technical modifications, it shaped express train traffic on the Emsland line until its end. It later became a museum locomotive and is still a symbol of the German Federal Railroad's steam locomotive finale.

For discerning model railroaders with a sense of steam locomotive history

The Brawa BR 012 brings sound, attention to detail and driving pleasure in perfect combination to your H0 layout - for all those who want to experience the glory of the last steam locomotive years in true style.
