Busch 12390 Digitaldecoder Product Details

Description

With this decoder, Busch field and mine railroads driven by a 3V micromotor can be controlled via a digital central unit. The decoder has 5 traction current outputs - one continuous output and four outputs that can be switched via the function buttons on the digital central unit. This means that the traction current can be switched on four separate track sections.

The digital decoder can be used with DCC command stations from all manufacturers and all Märklin command stations. In DCC mode, the decoders can be operated with 14, 28 or 128 speed steps and can be set to long addresses. In Motorola operation, the decoder has an address range from 1 to 255 (however, only 80 addresses can be reached with the Märklin central units 6020 and 6021).

The decoders can be programmed via Motorola and DCC central units with all known programming types. Minimum speed, maximum speed as well as acceleration and braking delay can be set. The locomotives of the field and mine railroads do not need to be converted. The decoder is also suitable for conventional DC operation, so that the locomotive speed can also be controlled via the decoder with a normal regulating transformer (up to 16 V).
