The Busch 1978 H0 Old Factory kit depicts a factory building from the Art Nouveau era, inspired by the "Kammerl" power station in Upper Bavaria. With a detailed facade and components made of real wood, this model is a realistic addition to your H0 model railway layout.
The "Kammerl" power station was put into operation in 1899 as the first high-pressure run-of-river power station in Germany. It was used to supply power to the Ammergau railroad and is an important example of Art Nouveau industrial architecture. Following renovation work, the building now shines again in its original brick-red masonry and impresses with its characteristic semi-circular lintels and classic lattice windows.
The Busch company is known for its high-quality model-making products, which impress with their attention to detail and quality. With the "Old Factory" 1978, Busch offers a model that authentically reproduces historical industrial architecture. The precise workmanship and attention to detail make this kit a valuable addition to any H0 model railway layout.
The kit has a base area of 165 x 149 mm and a height of 82 mm, suitable for H0 scale (1:87). The façade impresses with its detailed workmanship on all sides of the building. Typical features of the architecture of the time, such as semicircular window lintels, classic mullioned windows with filigree wooden frames and large wooden gates, are made of real wood. The gates are movable and can be opened, which offers additional design options. The model is also prepared for the installation of interior lighting, for example with Busch LEDs 5998, to provide atmospheric illumination.
The "Old Factory" is suitable for eras I to III and can be used in a variety of ways, for example as an industrial, craft or machine building. It can also be used as a loft. Thanks to its authentic design, the model blends harmoniously into various scenarios and adds a historical detail to your layout.
The façade in brick-red masonry look and the components made of real wood give the "Old Factory" a realistic appearance. The detailed design of the windows and gates ensures a high degree of model fidelity and makes the building an eye-catcher on your layout.
Busch attaches great importance to the quality of its products. The precise workmanship of the components and the use of high-quality materials ensure a high degree of accuracy and durability of the model. The stable structure facilitates assembly and ensures a robust construction.
The "Old Factory" can be ideally combined with other products from the Busch range. Matching industrial equipment, vehicles or figures complement the model and enable an even more realistic design of the scenery. The building can also be atmospherically illuminated with Busch LEDs 5998.
