With the Busch 50422 Fortschritt ZT 320 tractor, Busch is bringing a very special one-off from the post-reunification era to the H0 model railway layout: the Landfill Trac 074. This model is based on the original Fortschritt ZT 320, which was converted into a compactor for smaller landfill sites by Landtechnik AG Schönebeck after reunification. An absolute highlight for fans of unique work vehicles and special technical-historical conversions!
Instead of ploughing fields, the orange tractor was fitted with toothed steel wheels to carry out effective compaction work on landfill sites. The conversion was also given a robust front hydraulic system and a massive dozer blade, which earned it the nickname "flattener". This spectacular transformation is perfectly captured in the model - including all the special conversion components and the eye-catching color scheme.
Made from high-quality plastic, the model impresses with its precise implementation of the conversion. The toothed steel wheels, the solid front equipment and the authentic orange paintwork are reproduced in great detail. The prints are cleanly executed and make the Landfill Trac 074 a real eye-catcher on the layout or on the collector's shelf.
The ZT 320 compactor is perfect for dioramas with an industrial or landfill theme. As a special vehicle, it brings authenticity to scenes of modern waste management or can attract attention as a stand-alone model. The orange Trac also provides an interesting contrast in agricultural settings.
The Landfill Trac 074 is a real testimony to the technical ingenuity of the post-reunification period. With this conversion, Landtechnik AG Schönebeck demonstrated how new special vehicles could be created from old machines by adapting them to new tasks. This history makes the model particularly exciting for model builders interested in history.
The scope of delivery includes the fully assembled model of the Fortschritt ZT 320 Kompaktor - Deponie Trac 074 in orange. The model is ready for immediate use and requires no additional assembly or add-on parts.
This model is ideal for collectors of unusual working machines, diorama builders with a focus on industry and environmental protection or simply for lovers of rare model vehicles. Now available in the model train store - grab it before this special conversion is sold out!
