Busch presents the drinking water wagon of the GDR's DRK relief train. As the only supra-regional civil defense and disaster control unit in Germany, the DRK Hilfszug was indispensable from 1953 to 2007. Its sub-units included medical services, care services, nursing and nursing assistance services, technical services and telecommunications services. The DRK Hilfszug worked both in cooperation with the local and regional disaster control units and independently.
