The HW 60.11 double-sided tipper trailer from the "Ernst Thälmann" vehicle factory in Lübtheen supplemented the 8 t HW 80 trailer. Ideally, the trailer was attached to tractors or trucks as a towing vehicle in order to fulfill its main purpose in construction and agriculture. The permissible payload of the trailer was 6 tons up to 30 km/h, 5.4 tons up to 60 km/h and 5.3 tons up to 80 km/h. It was also possible to fit 300 mm side wall elevations. The trailer could be driven with low- or high-pressure tires. To ensure that the permissible payload of the trailer could also be utilized for specifically light transport goods, there was the option of fitting add-on drop sides. The extensions, made of sheet steel with light steel profiles, had a height of 300 mm.
