The dump truck body will continue to be used on the chassis of the W50 and L60 in model year 2023. In addition to fire department and NVA vehicles, an L60 from VEB Minol will follow.The focus this year is on models from the Auto Trans Berlin combine and its operating units as well as the successor companies that continued to use the existing vehicles with new lettering after reunification. Of course, a few new variants of the Espewe replica models of the S4000 tank fire engine will also be on display.
The basic type of a large range of commercial vehicles in the 5 t payload class from Ludwigsfelde was the W50L platform truck. Built since 1965 and constantly further developed, the 2-axle front-wheel-drive vehicle has proved its worth with customers at home and abroad. The W50L Sp flatbed forwarding vehicle was designed to meet customer requirements for a commercial vehicle with an enlarged loading area for transporting pallets and bulky goods. Compared to the W50L flatbed vehicle, the forwarding vehicle has a longer flatbed with a raised front wall and split drop sides. At Auto Trans Berlin, the beverage service was handled by the supply transport division. The colored stripes on the flatbed indicated which beverages were being transported. The red stripe marked beer transports - the model thus matched this year's brewery motto. White stripes marked milk transports and green stripes were applied to transporters for non-alcoholic beverages.
